Drainage This being a condominium whereby the drainage system is run through the whole building, shared by the residents, use of material that is not durable will not only be an inconvenience to management, it will also pose as a difficulty to the people that will have to deal with the outcome if it were to be broken or compromised in any way. I also noticed that the way the excess water is drained can be improved. There is no issue with the how it is drained whenever there is rain, but it becomes an issue especially when there is a heavy downpour. This causes flooding and overspill. Pooling and puddling at low areas which swamps the tiled flooring at the pathways. Stagnant water not only could risk wetting residents with low level floors, but will develop foul smell and the collection of dirt. Building Science and Services Project 1. Site Study

As a group, we have chosen our site to be the Suriamas Condominium. This project is to observe and lookout for key problems in the building, with the purpose to exercise our skills in applying solutions to these places. To my surprise the condition of this buildings services as a whole is not as unpleasant as we thought it would be. Overall, it is a decent place with adequate resources and facilities. Nevertheless, in light of this assignment, we still managed to find defects. From the site visit conducted, we as a group have come to find several flaws within the residing structure of the building. Some are manageable and accepted that certain such form of maintenance can only happen by duration. However, some are found to be in careless condition. In some aspects it may even be considered a hazard to the public. Well ola. Project 1 over here comes project 2. Upon studying and understanding the artist behavior, environment, exposure and work style; now we have to apply what we have founded into something that he/she could use in the work area. Mine being a jewelry designer, had alot of bulky tools; keeping in mind that it has to be durable and hardy for rough use. That is the reason to why it the drafts below are some reasons to why my first few ideas were very organic-looking shapes. all of which are meant to take a beating. If per-say Jonathan Yun were about to take this mobile kit for a journey. Collapsible handheld trunk Expanding egg Bamboo based tray. Multiple trays allows my artist to store and collect physical samples for inspirational ideas. A combination of the 3 ideas above, seeing that it each have very good attributes. So, yea. Ok mock upcoming!

I've done as much to apply the working styles and attributes of Jonathan Yun. keeping the board minimalistic in its layout while centralising his main form of inspiration; the coral. Background Jonathan Yun. A famous jewelry designer born and raised in the hustles of Penang, Malaysia. He's a graduate from RMIT, Australia (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). He specials in fine metal and gemology, which along the process inclined him to the path that hes is currently. Inspirations A majority of his designs are "neo-peranakan", locally inspired pieces because of our rich heritage and beautiful nature. Which aided him in obtaining his awards in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. Challenges Like all aspiring artist in the industry there is bound to be counterfeits and plagiarisms of their artwork. And based on the articles read, and interviews; Jonathan Yun projects himself as a man who is emotionally attached to his makings. Therefore, for instances such as this to occur, enrages him. After a relatively long semester break, semester 2 began. What I thought would be an introduction and briefing turned into a lecture for the day. We recapped what we have learned previously; understanding Ergonomics, Anthropometrics and how it both coincides with each other. For our first project we are to study a given artist.
