Reading Spaces. An Introduction given by Ms.Annie, in this topic we are to learn and observe the environment as well as the interaction that occurs in a location. From lecture one I have gathered the 4 main categories in our study of classifying spaces. 1. Public Within a social distance, people beyond this circle would be nothing more than noticeable by us, but the closer they are the more we prepare ourselves where it be conciously or not, in anticipation of action. 2. Social Everyone has our own social cliques. And in these zones, it is basically having people within a comfortable radius; close enough to communicate but not to the extent where we would call it ''too close for comfort''. Situations as such would refer to e.g supper at a mamak stall with friends as well as tag alongs. 3.
